The polycrisis and climate change disruption do not occur by themselves. They can intensify food and water insecurity, forced migration, economic shocks, public-health pressures, political conflict, authoritarian responses, ecological destruction, and the breakdown of public trust. Those crises can then weaken humanity’s ability to respond to climate change, resource overshoot, and one another.
That is why isolated solutions are no longer enough.
People need an understandable path from accurate information to better thinking, from better thinking to wise preparation and cooperation, from preparation to practical learning and demonstration, and from successful experiments to long-term civilizational renewal.
FACTNet is building that connected path.
One Mission, Five Connected Capacities
FACTNet’s mission is organized around five mutually supporting capacities. Each matters by itself, but their greatest value comes from connecting them. Reality without preparation becomes paralysis. Preparation without ethics can become self-protection at everyone else’s expense. Vision without evidence becomes decorative optimism.
People cannot prepare for dangers they have not been allowed to see clearly. FACTNet provides public education about the climate emergency, ecological degradation, resource overshoot, and the need to reduce fossil-fuel use rapidly while also preparing for serious consequences that can no longer be fully avoided.
The goal is neither doom nor false reassurance. It is practical hope grounded in honest information and effective action.

Safe, non-coercive exploration of meaning, consciousness, spiritual experience, and inner resilience.
Universe Spirit offers a well-bounded space for self-directed exploration of life’s deepest questions. It supports direct experience, humility, healthy boundaries, ethical development, and the inner strength needed to remain grounded and compassionate during profound change. It requires no loyalty to a teacher, doctrine, organization, or spiritual claim.
The four websites investigate, explain, and guide. Universe College will teach and preserve. CCPARM prepares and adapts. Universe One will demonstrate and test. Independent communities can replicate what proves useful.
From Online Learning to Real-World Demonstration
The four websites provide the knowledge pathways. Universe College and Universe One complete the missing implementation loop by turning that knowledge into structured education, practical testing, knowledge preservation, and shareable real-world models.
Shared Teaching and Knowledge Preservation
Universe College
Universe College is FACTNet’s planned shared learning platform for the four educational websites. FACTNet previously operated Universe College online for several years. The rebuilt college will begin online again in stages, using a more accessible, portable, maintainable, and resilient learning system.
Universe College will convert research and guidance from the four websites into accessible noncredit courses, guided learning paths, workshops, facilitator resources, practical exercises, assessments, and local study-group materials.
Expected subjects include climate preparation and resilience, polycrisis literacy, rational thinking and DMAP, ethical action, sustainable lifestyles and livelihoods, community governance, ecological responsibility, conflict resolution, cooperative systems, and inner resilience.
Universe College will also serve as a knowledge-preservation and continuity system. Courses, manuals, research summaries, technical guides, cultural resources, and essential practical knowledge should be maintained through redundant digital archives, printable materials, and offline learning packages. Like libraries, universities, monasteries, and other continuity institutions during earlier periods of upheaval, it can help preserve and transmit knowledge when ordinary institutions are strained or lost.
Universe College will initially be a noncredit public-education platform. It will not represent itself as an accredited degree-granting institution unless it later completes all required legal, educational, governance, staffing, and accreditation processes. Certificates, when offered, will document course completion rather than academic credit or professional licensure.
When adequate funding, qualified staff, legal review, local approvals, and a suitable site are in place, Universe College may also develop a land-based teaching and research campus at Universe One. That campus would connect online and classroom learning with demonstration agriculture, resilient buildings and utilities, ecological restoration, community health and preparedness, arts and culture, and the practical preservation of essential knowledge.
Land-Based Demonstration and Continuity
Universe One and CCPARM
CCPARM is Job One for Humanity’s Climate Change Preparation, Adaptation, Resilience Building, and Migration Movement. It provides the applied preparation framework from which Universe One grows.
Universe One is FACTNet’s long-term plan for a land-based educational eco-community, resilience demonstration campus, applied research center, knowledge-continuity site, and possible future headquarters and land-based location for the Universe College.
Universe One is intended to test how people can prepare for climate and polycrisis disruption, cooperate under difficult conditions, protect vulnerable people, restore ecological systems, preserve knowledge and culture, and develop practical social, ecological, economic, educational, and governance models that can contribute to Humanity’s Great Rebirth.
Its work may include climate-resilient food and water systems, renewable and backup energy, low-impact housing, emergency preparation, ecological restoration, health and care systems, education, local livelihoods, democratic governance, conflict resolution, and methods for maintaining cooperation while preventing exploitation, coercion, deliberate free-riding, commons failure, and organizational capture.
If widespread social or institutional breakdown occurs, Universe One and related communities could become beacons of practical knowledge, mutual aid, ecological responsibility, and renewal. Their purpose would be to preserve useful knowledge and capacities while supporting surrounding communities, not to withdraw from the wider public or reserve resilience resources for a privileged few.
The goal is not an isolated refuge, a survivalist compound, or a private enclave for a privileged few. The public purpose is to create, document, teach, evaluate, and share tested practices that help many people and communities become more resilient, cooperative, ecologically responsible, and capable of renewal.
A Distributed Community Network, Not a Single Point of Failure
Over time, FACTNet hopes to support a distributed network of independent, locally governed communities, learning centers, archives, and partner organizations that adapt the strongest Universe One and CCPARM practices to their own cultures, climates, laws, resources, and needs.
A distributed model is more resilient than relying on one campus. Knowledge, seed libraries, technical manuals, curricula, cultural works, governance lessons, and practical skills can be preserved in multiple places and shared widely. Universe One would be a flagship learning and demonstration site, not a command center controlling other communities.
When, Where, and How This Great Reckoning to the Great Rebirth Work Will Proceed
These are planning windows and readiness stages, not guaranteed forecasts or construction promises. Dates and priorities will change as climate risks, resources, laws, partnerships, and organizational capacity change.
2026–2032: Build the Foundation

No permanent location has been finalized. Candidate regions and sites will be evaluated through climate and resource-risk analysis, water availability, food-production potential, fire and disaster exposure, ecological impacts, access, health services, neighboring-community relationships, affordability, insurance, legal requirements, and zoning feasibility.
Land acquisition or construction should begin only after professional due diligence, transparent governance design, public-benefit review, adequate capital and reserves, qualified project leadership, and formal board authorization.

Education, employment, housing, or community participation should not require adherence to a metaphysical or political worldview.

Phase One Funding Goal: $250,000–$400,000
This funding will support approximately two to three essential staff members or equivalent contractors, working with volunteers and professional advisors to convert years of research into credible, accessible public education, restart the online learning system in stages, strengthen the knowledge archive, improve the four-site pathway, and complete early Universe One feasibility and readiness work.
This is not a land-purchase or campus-construction campaign. Any future Universe One land and campus campaign will have a separate case statement, budget, feasibility record, legal and zoning review, governance plan, restricted-funding system, capital campaign, donor reporting process, contingency plan, and formal board authorization.
One-time donations help complete priority projects. Monthly donations provide dependable support for sustained educational work. Major gifts and grants can sponsor specific guides, courses, archives, resilience tools, professional studies, staff positions, or later project phases.
FACTNet currently processes online gifts through Job One for Humanity, one of FACTNet’s nonprofit educational programs. Donations are tax-deductible in the United States to the extent permitted by law. Restricted gifts will be accepted and administered only under approved policies and written gift terms. Charitable gifts do not create rights to future housing, residency, leases, land access, employment, or preferential admission.

FACTNet is a U.S. IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1993 as the Fight Against Coercive Tactics Network. Its early work helped people recognize coercive organizations, manipulation, abuse, and threats to freedom of conscience.
