This page contains photos of the Loch Lomond Marina surrounding the home boat in its current location. The marina has security gates and great walks on the breakwater. Andy's local market is about 300 yards from the boat, and it is like an upscale Whole Foods.

The current marina is kept clean, is well-managed, and has key access security gates on every dock. They have also just completed extensive upgrades to the docks. The current marina has palm trees, three small parks surrounding it, a well-equipped children's playground, and a very long Strand walking path around the huge marina and the breakwater that protects the boat from waves in storms. 

Multi-million dollar homes surround the current marina, and it is generally considered a very safe area. Women walk their dogs late at night on the strand pathway. The marina is about 20 minutes via the freeway from the edge of San Francisco and about 10 minutes from the Larkspur ferry that goes to San Francisco.

Do not contact the Marina offices until you have talked with us first so that we may inform you of the best way to do this. We have been in this marina for many years and know the people and its procedures very well. Speaking with us before you talk to the marina will help ensure your success in your interactions with them.

If You Want to Stay in the Current Marina Location

You can move the Universe Spirit boat to any marina you like. If you decide to keep it in its current San Rafael location, you must apply to the marina, pass a credit and background check, and pass an interview with the harbor manager. You can apply and interview with the marina before you purchase the boat to see if you pass all of the marina's standard requirements for keeping a boat in a slip in the current marina. 

Please remember that you can easily move our boat to any marina you like if you choose to locate it elsewhere.
